FINCA FELLA EL MASO GARNACHA TINTORERA
Grape variety: Garnacha Tintorera 100%
Production Area: Almansa, Albacete.
Vinification: Garnacha Tintorera is the most representative grape of Almansa. Our grapes are carefully selected from low-yielding vines over 60 years old and grow at an altitude of 1090 meters above sea level on red soil rich in iron oxides on a layer of limestone rock. The combination of these elements creates a wine capable of enriching the tasting experience beyond the most ambitious expectations. Soft destemming. Fermentation in steel with maceration on the skins for 25 days at 28°C-30°C. Aging in American and French oak barriques for 12-13 months.
Sensory Characteristics: Intense garnet red colour. Intense and persistent, with notes of cherry and blackcurrant, aromatic herbs, cinnamon, cloves, cocoa, liquorice and mineral hints. Great structure, velvety tannins, very persistent with a long finish; ready to drink but also well suited to aging.
Food pairings: El Maso goes perfectly with red meat and game dishes; equally satisfying is the combination with rich and tasty dishes. It can be uncorked at the moment if served in large glasses with a wide mouth and good height.
