FANTINI GRAN CUVEE ROSE
Grape variety: Aglianico del Vulture
Production Area: Acerenza (PZ), vineyard at 800 meters above sea level. Harvest: 1st week of September.
Vinification: soft pressing of the whole grapes in order to extract only the free-run must. Static decantation, fermentation of the clean must for 20 days at a temperature of 12°C. This is followed by a slow second fermentation in small 4000 liter autoclaves. for 60 days.
Idea of the Wine: fresh wine with a pleasant aroma, for young and dynamic consumers
Sensory Characteristics: fresh wine with intense aroma. Pomegranate in colour, intense, persistent and fruity aroma with hints of ripe cherry, currants, wild strawberries and raspberries. All the aromatic components are found in the mouth and the body is balanced by a good freshness. Elegant and persistent perlage.
Food pairings: it is suitable for pairings with tastier dishes (based on fish and vegetables), dishes based on red and white meats, sausages, risottos. Also excellent with pastries and tarts.
