ROSSETTI GOVERNMENT SEALS FOR USE TOSCANO FANTINI WINES
Grape variety: Sangiovese 70%, Merlot 20%, Cabernet Sauvignon 5%, Syrah 5%
Production Area: Tuscany
Winemaking: During the harvest period, the healthiest and ripest grapes are harvested early. Part of these bunches are left to dry on racks for 4/5 weeks. Once pressed, these grapes produce a must which, when added to the wine which has just finished fermentation and has burned all the sugars, begins a second fermentation. The wine matures for 5 months in French wood.
Sensory Characteristics: Intense ruby red with typical notes of black cherry and bramble. On the palate it has a vibrant and elegant character, rich in fragrant fruits and enriched by a mineral vein. Full-bodied, rich and creamy red wine, with firm tannins and a long and slightly spicy finish.
Food pairings: It goes perfectly with typical Tuscan dishes, Florentine steak and pasta with meatballs. In general, it is excellent for all meals due to its freshness and versatile character.
